Chief Jack's Galley

There's a place for people who laugh at nothing...

Mary Cecelia's been on my mind a lot lately, mostly because she's the star of my NaNoWriMo novel (which is currently standing at 36,020 words....I have an outside chance of making it, among everything else that I'm doing). Sunday's Day By Day presents an interesting idea, one which had been broached on the Ghostletters list and, from what I understand, one of G. Gordon Liddy's annual ideas.

Cox & Forkum talks about a deal breaker in the Middle East.

Attack Cartoons gives us the best airline ad campaigns ever.

A couple of good Gaggles: Brian Williams talks about how his job is easier now, and Tim Russert and some woman I don't recognize talk about the media's latest pronouncement about Iraq.

Here's hoping you make your NaNo! I would like to read it when it is finished.

And that whole calendar thing - right up MC's alley! She would be perfect for that!

Okay ... back to ... bleech! ... work.

I'll make it a point to put the NaNo project out on my website when it's complete.

Do you remember when Dave Webb (a/k/a Pissed Off White Guy) suggested the calendar with armed women?
