There's a place for people who laugh at nothing...

Mary and I went to the book sale held by the Friends of the Library. She came home with about 100 books; I didn't see anything I wanted that badly. I have such a problem in situations like that, where there are thousands of books in more or less random sequence laid out in front of me. I have no idea what I'm looking for, so I'm totally befuddled.

I got a call from the guy I've been working for at my client company. He let me know that he's leaving. I'm going to miss him, but I'm happy for him. He said that he's going to focus on himself for a couple of months before starting to look for another job. Oh, and they're in the process of making me a full-time employee. At least that's what I think they're doing. I've accepted a tentative offer from them; the formal offer, I understand, comes in the mail when they make the decision. I'm pretty happy about it.

Anyway, it's Friday night and that means no more computer after 6:30, which is what it is now. See you all over the weekend, maybe.
