RIP annef. Sadly, we had a bit of a falling out a while back and really hadn't spoken much, though we made up and normalized relations as best we could. I had the pleasure of seeing Anne several times when I would travel to Toronto, and saw the Batcave, her collection of vampire related stuff, etc., met her one-time roommate Anne Marie, and cuddled and played with Mina. She was, and to me always will be, a delightful person, and I feel a tremendous sense of loss.

That's all I can say, other than to send my condolences on to her family (her mother and her brother and his family) and to Mina.

I have not been taking this well and have spent most of the morning crying at my desk. They told me I could go home but what am I going to do there? Sit in the silence and go bonkers? I don't think so. So I am staying at work and crying on and off and I shall go to get a haircut tonight. Tomorrow I am having lunch with my Other Anne and now I am looking forward to it even more than I was when we made plans last night.

I am really going to miss her.

Oh, so you actually met her and Mina. Wow. I wish I could have.

I'm very sorry that she's gone, as you know.

I found out about her death by reading your journal, actually.

Anne was a delightful person, and Mina was a sweet kitty. Even though we had sort of lost contact (a misunderstanding that arose out of the bullshit that happened after several people left to form Quillings), I was very fond of her, and the only good thing about going to Toronto was seeing her.

Anne sounds like a great person, and I'm really sorry for the loss you're feeling now. It's great that you had the chance to see her in person.

She was a great person, and a lot of us are feeling the loss. In the end, I think that's what it's all about, to have impacted so many lives.

I feel very sad for you, knowing that it must be especially difficult having had a falling out with her. I'm glad you were able to iron things out to a certain degree, though.
