Judi's at the vet today. She's been scratching at her ears something fierce, and has needed a bath, a claw clipping, and her shots for some time now. And, considering she looks like she kills for a living, we're not going to take any chances....

See what I mean?

Turns out that she had an ear infection in both ears. Great. Now we get to try and put ear drops into her ears...

EVENING UPDATE: Judi had a "spa day" today: bath, claws clipped, ears cleaned out, all her shots, a microchip (even if she doesn't go out), the whole nine yards. The vet told me that she was much easier to deal with when she was sedated. When she wasn't, and he tried to clean her ears out, she managed to tuck her head down so far into her neck that her ears were inaccessible. I've never seen a cat do anything like that.

Anyway, she's home now, resting peacefully until 9 PM, when Mary and I try to put drops in her ears. Oh, joy. She gets drops in the ears twice a day and an ear wash once a day.
