I'm wide awake and I shouldn't be. I was up at 4:30 this morning (the clock was set for 5, but I woke up early), got ready and left at about 5:15. It was a good thing, too, because it was pouring rain in Atlanta at that hour. Surprisingly, I experienced no delay on either leg of the trip (ATL-ORD, ORD-IND) despite the weather, and got to beautiful Danville at 1:30 this afternoon. It'll probably hit me tomorrow; that's the way things usually go.

You know, I really should put a tape recorder on in the car when I have to drive that early in the morning. I'm a regular riot. Now, I can't remember any of the jokes that I came up with. And I have a TV outline that I need to finish for tomorrow, and it's supposed to be funny (I'm writing a sitcom that's kind of like Fawlty Towers set in a day spa), and I'm having a hell of a time coming up with anything. The critique I got last week was that it was funny, but not sitcom funny, and I'm starting to wonder if maybe I wasn't barking up the wrong tree in the first place. I'll get it, I'm sure.

Geez, I'm watching CSI: Miami and David Caruso is playing superhero. What a boob. Now, something bad is about to happen to someone. I can tell because they're playing the funky "Something's about to happen" music. This really is the weakest of the three of them.
