Things are picking up.... long last. It sounds to me like they're finally breaking the logjam at work that's kept me on the bench for close to three months. Here's something that maybe one of you can explain: I'm so valuable that they don't want to send me out on engagements, for fear that they might send me on one and need me all of a sudden for another. Since they can't commit, neither will the customers. What's wrong with this picture?

Anyway, I have plenty to do these days. I've been working on a project for a customer at the opposite corner of the US from me, and I don't even have to go there. I love it! I can do all the work from home and send it to them when we're done. The world of telecommuting. I love it! Wish I could do all of my engagements that way. Then I wouldn't have to feel guilty about sitting around and waiting for the phone to ring. Not that I do much feeling guilty about it, mind you.

Guess I should get to work on the next installment of the "Nothing" story that I've been writing out here.
