(no subject)

For those of you who don't get the Dave Barry feed on LJ, follow this link and follow it to his column for today. OK, that sounded like I was barking orders at you. Sorry. It's just that today's column is really funny...

Ah, Sunday...

I slept until 11 AM this morning. Guess I really needed the rest.

Mary and I spent most of the day after that out of the house. We went to lunch, then saw "The Princess Diaries 2". OK, definitely aimed toward a much younger crowd, but we really enjoyed it, and hey, any movie where Julie Andrews sings is worth seeing. A good story, too.

Then we went to Borders, where I bought a Linux quick reference and Mary bought a couple of novels, then we went for coffee and came home. I tried installing Fedora Core 2, and halfway through the installation, my computer shut down. It's been doing that a lot lately, and I'm starting to think that maybe it's the power supply. It'll go for days without cutting out, then it'll just shut down for no reason, and the only way to get it to work again is to pull the plug out and plug it back in. Maybe it's overheating. I have this little fan on my desk, maybe I should position it so that it's blowing onto the power supply.

Anyway, back to work tomorrow, when I hope that I'll have access to everything. I guess I should go to bed, since I have to be up at 5:30. Besides, the Braves are getting beaten pretty badly.
