First of all, welcome to friendsafire and halfmoon_mollie, both of whom have added me to their flist.

The guy I was supposed to meet with at 10:30 this morning called me last night to say that he wouldn't be in the office until 11, then called later saying that having his car fixed was going to take longer than that. So, we're meeting this afternoon. Just as well; it gives me more time to study and get ready for the exam review.

I'm working in the living room on the laptop. For some reason, I'm better able to focus here. Made it all the way through an e-learning exercise without too much difficulty, and even managed to take notes! I'm getting good at this.

This new laptop has a li-ion battery, and I'm not sure about the best way to treat it. Do I run it out entirely, then charge it all the way up? Do I let it partially discharge, and charge it from there? Do I run off of house current whenever possible, even when the battery is fully charged, or does that burn out the battery? Can someone help me?

Good news to report: I am almost product certified with my one client. That means payday is just around the corner. Next step is instructor certification, then they'll start sending me out on assignment. Cool!
