OK...Mary and I are leaving for Chicago in the morning. We'll stop in Mount Vernon, IL for the night tomorrow, then make the rest of the trip on Sunday, as is usually our itinerary. We should be back Wednesday or Thursday.

I'll have a laptop along for the odd updates here and there. Of course, I'll do my best to keep up with the funnies :)

It was a good day. As you've seen, I've lost about 57 1/2 lbs since the beginning of the year. I found this out by going to the doctor's office. She has been somewhat under the weather; she had surgery on Monday (appendicitis and something rather rare) and wasn't there today, but I was able to use her scale. The weather was great here. It's not going to be so great in Chicago. Oh, well.

Talk to you from the road tomorrow.
