Tuesday thoughts

First, a picture of Lucy sitting on my computer:

Yes, that little white box under Lucy is my computer. It seems to be THE place for the cats to want to sit these days. I used the camera in my phone.

I celebrated St. Patrick's day yesterday by falling on the driveway. I got out of the van and stepped down on the side of my foot and lost my balance, and fell right over. I was fine, since I had the good sense to fall onto the lawn beside me. I was then able to crawl over to the van and pull myself up. No harm done, and I was happy that it was easy. I haven't fallen in a while, and have been unwilling to get onto my hands and knees to crawl under my table and mess with the electrical cords for fear that I won't be able to get back up. Maybe I should do it and decrapulate under the table.

In a fit of nostalgia Sunday, I downloaded this album through iTunes. I'm nuts, I know.

Work has been a little quieter than I like it.

The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men were really good last night. I'm glad the writers strike is over.

I've gotten two offers of free or discounted food from restaurants because it's my birthday next week. Free food--my two favorite words in the English language.

As I think I mentioned, I'm getting a little tired of typing with one hand, not being able to write, etc., so I've decided to go commando on my right arm and hand. My hand is giving me fits: I'll use it for a while, and it starts getting tight and feels like it's swollen. I'm seeing the Neurologist tomorrow; maybe he can help. Nevertheless, I've started working with a hand weight to strengthen the arm and shoulder, and use my right hand when I can. It has gotten better with time and exercise. Still, you know me...
