Things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal... and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs.
1. Petting the cats. Heck, even just watching some of them. Jasmine, better known as Jazz-o, is a scream when she's running around.
2. Watching television.
3. Listening to music.
4. Playing the guitar.
5. Sitting at Starbucks with a triple venti mocha, a notebook and a pen. It's the writing I do for me, that I don't share with anyone. I swear, I can tell my mood by the shapes of the letters and whether or not my handwriting is morphing.
6. Sitting on the deck, looking out over the waterfall and watching the birds fly around.
7. Watching or listening to baseball, particularly the White Sox and the Braves. Although sometimes the shenanigans on the field raise my stress/blood pressure/anxiety level.
