There's a place for people who laugh at nothing...

We had to take Sherman to the vet today to have a glucose curve done on him. When we went to pick him up, uhh...they had a kitten who needed a home....His name's Angus, and he looks like he's going to be a medium- or longhair. He's black and gray, his eyes are blue, and he's tiny, because he was runt of his litter. I know, we've now crossed over into crazy. We're keeping him in the guest bathroom for a few days because he's only about 6 weeks old and we want to keep an eye on him with the others. Pictures to follow.

Sherman's fine, by the way. We're going to have to increase his insulin dosage a little bit, and he seems to have a little infection (which I understand is fairly common with diabetic cats) that we're fighting with Clavamox. We're doing our best with him, and he seems to be responding well to the treatment.

Got some good news, by the way: I'm getting to the point where I can start charging more per day with my client company. Way cool.

I'll be doing a lot of running around tomorrow. One of my assignments requires government security clearance, which involves a drug test, background check, credit report, and a whole bunch of other paperwork. All so I can access some of their data to build a class. Geez. So, I think I'll go downtown and take a whiz tomorrow, and get things moving.

I'm tired. I've been staring at a computer screen most of the day today. Think I'll go watch TV.
