Here's Milton, babysitting Minnie and Max. As you can see, Max hasn't figured out the meaning of "look at the camera!"

Milton is very ... pink, isn't he? What kind of cat is he? Does he have rex fur? It looks so different in the photo from the other two.

But so cute! Kitty pictures are always a nice thing to see!

Milton is a Devon Rex. The other two are domestic shorthairs. His hair is a bit spotty in places (I think he's molting--they do that instead of shedding), so you can see his skin through it. (He needs a bath.)

Really? They molt? How fascinating!

I have never had a rex cat, so I don't know much about them. Most (all?) of my cats have been strays or freebie kittens. I keep saying I'd like an actual *breed* (I've always wanted a true Siamese, for example), but I wouldn't buy one. Seems unfair to all the kittys out there who don't have homes, and besides, I'm not rich enough to have a cat that costs lots of money.
