Now, as for the rest of you, who have heard me talk about the Spiritual Telegraph but not yet experienced it in full...Ghostletters is, as we say on the soon to be outdated home page, an exercise in collaborative fiction. That is, everyone who participates in it writes in character, normally of one's own choosing, although many have participated as people from history or from other works of fiction. This journal, Chief Jack's Galley, is named after the restaurant of one of the original characters, my very own Jack O'Brian, CSSC, USN Ret. His daughter, Mary Cecelia, took over this journal for a week last March, and I don't think she's ever gotten over it.
