There's a place for people who laugh at nothing...

Today, I had to put one of my cats to sleep, I had a ton of work to do and I was running into one problem after another, it's done nothing but rain here for the last 24 hours, I haven't slept well in two days...

Then, the White Sox won their first postseason series since 1917 about fifteen minutes ago.

This might very well be the happiest day of my life.

Johns, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your kitty. But I'm glad you found a sweet spot today!

I wonder if that's how Johns Hopkins University got its name?

Go Sox.

I've liked Chicago since they took Carlton Fisk all those years ago.

I had a kitty named Carlton.

Go Sox.

I wanted to name Thumbs, my polydactyl, Pudge, after Fisk, but Mary insisted on Thumbs.

My first two kitties -after I moved into my own place - were Munson and Bench.I am not a Yankees fan, but Thurman played his minor league ball right here in CNY.

I called them that because their paws were HUGE. As it happened, they grew to be 16 and 17 pounds.
