Snagged from summerlady...

1. Pick ten films you love/thoroughly enjoy.
2. Find/make screen stills for each film.
3. See how many of them your friends get correct.

I warn you, my tastes are a little esoteric...

Yes, Dr. Strangelove. Another hint: Bogart is in two of them.

Yes, "The Caine Mutiny". He was also in #4.

If he's in #4 I'm guessing "Sabrina". And how come no one has guessed "King Kong vs. Godzilla" yet? C'mon people! That's an easy one!

3. The Great Escape
5. Looks like "This is spinal tap" but I recall the dials looking newer - could be wrong... "this one goes to ELEVEN"
9. How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb
10. Arsenic and Old Lace

The rest -- no idea.

It's actually "The Ladykillers", but you may be the only one that recognizes it. Did you buy him the original with Alec Guinness and Peter Sellers, or the remake with Tom Hanks? And, you are correct, the screaming girls are from "A Hard Day's Night". Someone already got the one with Bogart, but you might want to think about the fact that he's dressed in a Naval uniform. As to the other two, no on both counts. Try again!

Oh, man... I recognized the screaming girls from Beatles footage, but guessed the wrong movie.

#1 - Singing in the Rain (but only if that's Donald O'Connor).

2 is Help!
5 is This Is Spinal Tap
7 is Godzilla vs. Mothra (I think... guess based on watching way too many of those on MST3K)
8... Annie Hall is the only thing that comes to mind.

7 is Godzilla, but not against Mothra. 8 is much earlier than "Annie Hall". You're correct on the other two.
