I'll share this link, knowing that summerlady will probably be the only one to read it (one of our favorite topics, V). Here's another. Ferdy is my favorite source for things like this.

And, did someone talk about speaking "truth to power"? Day by Day addresses it pretty well.

In Dilbert, Dogbert conducts a seminar for middle managers. I've always suspected it.

Yes, it's Winter Olympic season, and Big Nate points out the reason most guys even watch.

Bucky sets up a non-profit in Get Fuzzy.

"calendar an on-site post-cutover support review meeting"???

What exactly does that mean in plain English? Or better question,
does it actually mean anything?

Is there some sort of course that business management are required
to take "Obfuscation of Language 101--How to Say Nothing In As Many
Words As Possible" or something like that?

One can't help but wonder...

The terrifying thing is that it actually made sense to me. It means to schedule ("calendar") a meeting at the client's site ("on-site") to review support after replacing old software with new ("post-cutover"). The use of a noun as a verb (e.g. "calendar") is fairly common in the world of high-tech. You might remember gerunds from English (or Latin, as the case might be), which are verbs used as nouns. This, I suppose, would be a dnerug... (gerund spelled backwards).

This article talks more about the relationship of the Kennedys to the Kings. A small historical fact that few people remember, I'm afraid.

And I do remember the Kennedy - King connection.

There at times I agree with you and time i disagree, but always I appreciate your views.

And I appreciate that you are willing to accept me, as I am of you. This world has been built on people who disagree doing so in an agreeable manner.
