Just wanted to share this picture.

This is my father and I at a cousin's christening, a year or two before he died. The blue car over my shoulder is a 1959 Chevy Biscayne. Just so you know.

Who died... your cousin or your father?
Also, LOVE those jackets! I have some shots of my grandfather in a get up like that, and it's great.

Dad. My cousin Maureen is still alive and well and doing quite smashingly, actually.

I forgot I had that jacket, or that Dad had one just like it. Those are seersucker jackets. (You know, Sears sold them, we were the suckers who bought them.) My brothers had them in red and blue, as I recall. They are great, aren't they? Kinda Matlock-y.

You are both fine looking men. This picture so remindes me of my childhood, seeing my brother and father in similare jackets at important family event.

First, thanks for the compliment. I'm making kind of a funny face in the picture (to be fair, the sun was in my eyes), but Dad makes up for it.

That's great! What a great memory. I'm glad you have such a nice photo to remember your dad. Handsome devils.
