Had an enjoyable day today. We went to Mass for Palm Sunday, then out to lunch at Houlihan's (I love their Ahi Tuna Salad; it's nearly-raw ahi on a bed of bok choy, lettuce and red cabbage, wonton strips, with bananas and a banana-lime vinaigrette, then they drizzle on sweetened soy sauce--it's delicious) and spent most of the afternoon at Starbucks. I read a book called Bluetick Revenge, by an author named Mark Cohen, a one time Marine Judge Advocate and municipal court judge from Boulder. I really enjoyed it: it moved along quickly, it was funny, the story was good, every chapter ended with some kind of a joke, and it was a fun read. In short, it's the kind of book that I would have like to have written. I'm going to read his first book, The Fractal Murders, next, once I can pick it up from the library.
We still haven't gotten out to see Lucky Number Sleven. We'll probably go to a late afternoon show later this week. See, those are the bargain shows at only $5.75 apiece. Another one I'd like to see is Take The Lead, because I like watching dancing and Mary likes Antonio Banderas. I guess it's based on a true story.
It's going to be a busy week, meaning that I'll have to do a better job of focusing on work. Can I? Sure!
Talk to you all later...
