Following on from this entry from the other day, Boxing Alcibiades contributes this article in which he takes on Libertarians, such as myself. I can't say that I totally disagree with him on any of this. But, hey, insanity is part of the game.

Any money I'd save because of AARP deals (which I've heard aren't really all that good; I get a better discount at hotels and car rentals through AAA) would be taken in additional taxes to pay for the things they lobby for. This is a philosophical difference, not simply an issue of my not wanting to admit that I'm 50.
