I went to the library today and picked up a travel book on Southeast Asia, which included Singapore, and did a little reading up on it. One of the things that they featured prominently in the Singapore section was a picture of a sign that said, "Long haired men not welcome here", or words to that effect. I'm wondering if I should tuck my ponytail under my shirt collar, lest I appear to be a nonconformist. Of course, that version of the book was written in 1994, so maybe I should pick up a new book, i.e. one written in this century.
Anyway, it'll be an experience for me. Good or bad, no one knows just yet, but I feel more comfortable going there than to China. I'd love to go to China someday; my grandfather went years ago, and went to the Great Wall, which, as far as I knew, was the only thing older than him. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Lucy is running around being noisy and demanding, as usual. She sits outside the door to my office and howls until I let her in. Now, she's getting on the table, screaming in my face. I guess she wants out.
