ainabarad has challenged me to come up with ten songs that start with the letter "B", along with who performed them....

1. Boom Boom (Out go the lights) - Little Walter
2. Boom Boom - John Lee Hooker
3. Baby, Please Don't Go - Muddy Waters
4. Begin the Beguine - Ella Fitzgerald (a standard by Cole Porter)
5. Born to be Wild - Steppenwolf
6. Blues in the Night - various (my version is by Kenny Burrell)
7. Behind Blue Eyes - The Who
8. Beginnings - Chicago
9. Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite! - The Beatles
10. Beyond the Sea - Bobby Darin

If you'd like to play along, leave me a reply.

EDIT - I forgot...you leave me a reply, I give you a letter...

Ooops! Left out an instruction. You reply, I give you a letter. How about "I"?

Post them in your journal and invite others to play along. Don't forget the instruction!

I can think of a half dozen songs by the Beatles alone that start with the letter "I".

I actually like quite a few of the songs on your list. "Beyond the Sea" is one of my favorites and it also reminds me of one of the best ever X-Files episodes.

Now ... gimme a letter!

Please ...

How about "F" for your letter?

It's one of my favorite songs as well. Have you seen the movie, "Beyond the Sea"? It's really good. I think the song once made an appearance in a Jack and Dana story...

I'm sure I've asked you this before, but have you seen the Carnival Cruise Lines commercial that follows the retired couple (sitting on the deck, sightseeing and shopping in a small town, dancing at dinner, having a good time at a show on board)? They so remind me of how I see Jack and Dana.
