Looks like a collaborative writing site, with a whole lot less control. I signed up just for grins. Might get me back into writing. Ya never know.
Right now I'm charging a Bluetooth headset and trying to run something for work, listening to the Braves game on MLB.com, and enjoying some very nice weather. It's supposed to be quite windy and rainy tomorrow, just the right weather for going to see my accountant about my taxes.
I was playing with Google Maps last night (thanks for showing me that, the_paulr), and found some stuff from my early days in Chicago:
6459 N. Glenwood Avenue, my address from second grade on.
6456 N. Magnolia, where I lived before then.
My old grammar School, St. Ignatius, now the Chicago Waldorf Academy.
The Theater at St. Ignatius, which was attached to the school.
Looking east down Loyola Avenue from the school toward the Loyola Avenue "L" station. The building in the background is Mertz Hall at Loyola University, where I lived my last two years at Loyola.
4508 S. Wood Street, where Mary grew up and where we lived for ten years before moving to Atlanta. That's our old apartment on the second floor.
