I woke up this morning at about 6:30 and had to go to the bathroom. I tossed the covers off to my left side, not realizing that Lucy (see icon) was lying there. She immediately began to cry, so I tried to get her out, not realizing that she was trying just as hard to get out on her own. Needless to say, she got even more tangled up, and began to wail as only a Siamese can (OK, she's only half Siamese, but we got the noisy half) as I tried desperately to get her out. Of course, I woke Mary, who came upstairs demanding to know what I was doing to Lucy as Lucy finally extricated herself and ran away, hissing over her shoulder as she left. Mary helped me get the covers back on the bed, by which time the other 19 arrived, apparently thinking there was food...
Followup and fun with Lucy
