I worked on that sleep deficit this morning. I went to bed at 11 last night and didn't get up until 10 this morning. We hung around most of the day, then went to Mass at 4 (yes, I still practice my faith sometimes) and then to Frankie's Italian restaurant to celebrate my birthday, since I'm going to be away for the big day. Mary couldn't decide whether to celebrate this weekend or next, so we're going to celebrate both weekends.
Last night, I came home and found my new headphones, a blanket that Mary had crocheted for me, and a birthday card waiting for me on top of my printer. I love my wife. As lousy a week as I had last week, she knew just what would cheer me up: presents. She had also bought a carrot cake (my favorite) to celebrate.
Right now, I'm picking out music to take with me on my trip and trying to check in for my flight. America West's website is NOT cooperating. I'm trying to get an aisle seat. When I made my reservations, they only had centers. As big as I am, that should make life miserable for everyone in that row.
