Well, this assignment of mine is going to be a challenge. A good one, but a challenge nevertheless. There are a lot of things that are still up in the air about the trip. They still haven't figured out where exactly I'm going, nor have they nailed down the start date. It doesn't look like I'll be leaving next Friday, though.

The materials are a mess, but I think I can turn them into something fairly representative of a silk purse in the time allotted. It'll take some work, but this is the work that I love to do. This is really the first time that I've been this focused on something work related in a good ten years. Kind of sad, when you think about it.

I was in the office downtown at 7:45 this morning, which is some kind of a world record for me. I left at 4 when I realized that I had worked my way through all of the materials, and I was home by 5. And, no, I didn't go speeding home...the roads were crowded, but I made it through before most of the traffic hit. I'm going to try working 8 to 4:30 next week and see if I can get home before I have to go for my workouts. It'd be nice to be able to, like, have something to eat before I work out...

No workout today, which is just as well. I'm still plenty sore from three days in a row of workouts. I feel like I have a pinched nerve in my back. It goes away when I sit correctly. Hmmm....gotta wonder... I work out tomorrow morning, then probably not again until Tuesday. I'm almost finished with the four-day a week thing, and am ready to move on to three days a week with the trainer. I'm going to work in a couple of days of cardio as well. Mary has begun working with a trainer now. We're going to look fantastic. If we make it through alive.

Got to run; Blue Collar TV is on in a few minutes.
