Fifteen minutes to shutdown....

It's been a pretty productive day. Mary and I went to the health club after breakfast and spent some time in the swimming pool, getting out when the family with lots of kids arrived. We then came home, changed and went to Starbucks for a couple of cups of coffee, killing a couple of hours, during which I did lots of writing (actual pen to paper type writing) and Mary worked on a baby blanket for my brother and his wife, who are expecting a baby in November. Then it was back home to do some cleaning here. We had sandwiches from Subway for dinner, after which I spent an hour or so going through the job boards. I found several full-time trainer positions here in Atlanta, mostly with companies that I've never heard of, but you never know what's going to happen, so I sent off some resumes.

And, now, it's 21:50 according to the clock beside me. Crossing Jordan is on in ten minutes. The remains of Jeanne are on their way and will get here sometime between now and tomorrow morning. Yee-ha!

My 1992 Accord goes to the shop on Tuesday. I've had nothing to complain about, but the radio makes lots of noise and the fan's not working in the ventilation system (real important with winter coming). It could be expensive, but then, so's a new car, and this one's only got 111,900 miles on it, which for an Accord means that it's damn near new. I'm going to drive it until the wheels fall off of it, and that's close to 900,000 miles away, from what I've heard. My friends were right: I'll get sick of it before it wears out.

Have a good evening, all. Talk to you tomorrow.
